Perched on a mountain slope above Genesee, this home looks straight out at the Continental Divide. A flagstone patio, a stone-walled fire pit, and a stand of pines frame the view from every seat outside — and the house sits on 1.7 wooded acres, so there's room to wander well past the deck. We built it as a home first, and we think it's too good a backdrop to keep to ourselves.

You get several settings in one booking: the open deck and the Divide, the flagstone patio and fire pit, and 1.7 acres of ponderosa forest behind the house. Golden hour runs long up here — most photographers take the last two hours before sunset. Bring your own photographer or ask us for names.
Two-hour minimum · pricing on requestLarger gatherings may require a Jefferson County special event permit and a parking plan. County review can take around two months, so start the conversation early — the earlier we know, the more dates we can work with.
Allow 2+ months lead timeWe are listing the house on Airbnb and Wander for overnight stays, including the night before an event so you are not driving up the mountain the morning of. Ask us directly in the meantime.
